  • Hair braiding and nail art is sometimes available.
  • The lounge is also a place to chill out, listen to music and socialise.
  • Membership is free and admission costs £1 per session.
  • Play Zone is run by experienced youth workers parents are welcome to visit.

Sports: – well with all the sweets that you have bought from the canteen, we have to get you fit somehow!

  • Benchball, Volleyball & Basketball.
  • Hockey, Cricket & football.
  • Badminton, Rounders & Pool.

If you decide that the sport in the hall isn’t for you just ask a member of staff (they wear grey jumpers) what else there is to do. There is always a member of staff present to sort out any squabbles!

Arts and Crafts: - Come along and try:
• Batik • Clay • Mosaics • Mask Making • Wax • Fimo • IT Room:

When we meet we chose one or two of these activities and play them, sometimes there is a club theme or request for another activity. We also try to alternate the sports each week.

The Village Centre believes in equal opportunities, all young people are treated with equal respect. Prejudice and discrimination, bullying and anti social behaviour will be challenged by Staff and Members. We will always advise parents/carers if we are concerned about any of our members.

The Village Centre is a place where young people come to meet their friends, have fun and join in activities. It is a safe, friendly place which aims to provide a healthy and rewarding experience for all.

Action will be taken against individuals and groups who attempt to lower the standards of the Village Centre.
