Leadership Course - One week residential course sponsored by West Hove and Portslade Rotary Club.
Sports Teams and Community Sports Leaders’ Award
Biology & Geography fieldtrip - Snowdonia
Art and Media - Gallery visits and shows in London.
Various - Work experience and voluntary work placements, regularly and on a one-off basis.
Student Union - Events, including the Leavers’ Prom, and manages its own financial affairs.

Many students also join Community Education courses, including Sign Language, First Aid, Art Life Drawing, ICT and Language courses.

Visits and trips to:
Royal Inst. of Science conference in Paris, Houses of Parliament, House of Commons, Theatre visits for English and Performing Arts, Science students visit, France, and take study days at Oxford (Materials Science) and Sussex (Medicine and Physics).
Theatre visits, Art Gallery visits.
Sussex University (invited by Brighton Bears) and Oxford University.
London for Diet and Nutrition Conference.

Business group organising a 5-a-side football tournament for Tsunami Appeal.
